Crimson wanted to make it easier for health care providers to be better informed through data, and utilize that data as a way to improve the national health care system as a whole. The idea was just the beginning. It raised numerous questions – like how to be in compliance with storing and analyzing electronic medical records, how to scale across the country, and how to convince hospitals to adopt the system. The ultimate goal was to provide more transparency into the health care industry, something that had not been efficiently done yet.
The health care market is extremely complex and patchy. Icreon worked with the Advisory Board to understand the different ways to analyze patient records for doctors and administrators. We ultimately defined multiple, distinct database-drive products that could be used to help physicians better care for patients.
Of the multiple products that Icreon works with Crimson to develop, we’ve insured the highest performance standards to ensure the applications are functional no matter what.
The Crimson suite of technologies is one of the most secure platforms available, and maintains full HIPAA compliance for all hospitals using the software.
Crimson is able to parse through millions of data points to help hospitals find hidden patterns in physician performance, mortality rates, infection spreads & other key metrics.
With multiple different software that use completely different authentication systems, we've been able to create Single-Sign On using SAML2.0 for hospitals.
