HKI approached Icreon to completely overhaul their legacy ERP system that was restricting business growth. Moreover, they wanted to implement a
new digital ecommerce platform that would provide a seamless way for customers to purchase HKI products.
Since HKI’s legacy system was core to its business, it was important for Icreon to understand the business inside and out before suggesting what technologies would best fit. Icreon conducted an extensive two-month solution design phase,
sending architects to serve onsite at HKI’s offices in Ireland and England. Through various workshops and one-on-one interviews, Icreon established the B2B application requirements.
Icreon replaced HKI’s old catalogue—which was part paper-based and part web-based—with a new ecommerce system
The ecommerce system operates seamlessly in multiple countries, languages and currencies – handling payments on accounts as well as by credit card
Data is synchronized between the ecommerce system and ERP to avoid duplication of customer and product details.
Icreon developed a desktop application which uses AutoCAD drawings to create graphics of HKI’s products and parts on the ecommerce portal
