The Challenge

TOTO was looking to overhaul their digital presence. The goal of the website is to show TOTO as an innovator in luxury bathroom products, while successfully communicating TOTO’s vision as a company. On top of it all, it was important to convey the essence of Japanese engineering

in America. With millions of visitors a year, TOTO needed a website that could handle massive amounts of traffic and assets in a relatively short period of time. As new product models are added on an almost daily basis, TOTO needed a backend that could create, import and publish content instantly.

The Analysis

Icreon worked to position TOTO in front of their core audience – architects, hotels, engineers and contractors. We worked with a branding firm to deliver on TOTO's vision. Once the design was taken care of,

Icreon developed a completely customized, responsive Drupal-based backend system that would handle massive amounts of traffic and assets simultaneously.

My TOTO – using a single sign on feature users can save, organize, and compare products in multiple personalized folders.
Utilizing Drupal as a platform, Icreon developed a completely customized backend that allows TOTO to create, import and publish content on the fly. Developing on top of the existing ERP, the backend inventory management system allows TOTO to dynamically display SKUs based on users' needs. As TOTO operates from multiple locations, the backend was
developed with multi lingual capabilities. In addition, Icreon built MyTOTO - a mini library for users – using a single sign-on feature, users can add specific products to their folder to compare products on price, performance and more. With a multitude of features for each product, the price is dynamically displayed based on the features the user chooses.
